Community involvement is an integral part of The University of Tulsa.
It opens our students’ eyes to Tulsa’s needs, helps them gain work experience, and makes them more competitive in their future careers.
Our involvement fosters our relationship with the city of Tulsa. Our programs don’t just exist for the sake of educating our students, but also to anchor the community.
The University of Tulsa strongly encourages service to others. Across campus, you’ll find ways that we’re improving our area.
The University and Community Service Office
TU encourages and supports volunteer efforts by matching needs in the community and students with the drive to help. Recent projects have included growing vegetables for a local food bank, painting houses for elderly residents, tutoring elementary school children and building a Habitat for Humanity home.
