Discover the world of art at the Zarrow Center for Art & Education through this program, which is designed especially for the homeschooling community. Museum Babies »

Museum Babies is designed to nurture the needs of parents and their infants and/or toddlers. Parents will enjoy a casual experience in the galleries, learning about the art of Gilcrease Museum, then it's "play time" for children with activities to stimulate the five senses. Free for members; free with museum admission for not-yet members.

Drawing Fundamentals with Nancy Harkins @ Zarrow »

Learn tips to make drawing easier from a professional artist in this one-day class that covers basic drawing skills and how to see more accurately. Students will learn how to break down a subject into manageable pieces. Line angle, shape, positioning and linear perspective will be demonstrated. Class fee includes a sketch pad, eraser and drawing pencils for students. All supplies furnished.

It's an afternoon of museum fun for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy various art-making stations in the museum, each offering different materials and themes as well as teaching artists to help guide and inspire. An art hunt is available to explore in the galleries, with a prize at the end. Families also can enjoy our interactive space, Kravis Discovery Center, exploring the extensive gardens and special featured activities. For families with children ages 3 - 15. Free!

Explore the power and excitement of colors in artwork at the museum. Learn the colors of the color wheel and how to make new colors. Discover the temperatures and the personalities of colors. Which colors "speak" to you? After exploring colors in the galleries, participants will create an art object that relates to the color topic of the day.
