Drawing is the basis for creating all art — the starting point for expressing thoughts and ideas and making them visually concrete. Sunday Draws is for anyone who wants to learn to draw or to learn to draw better and have fun doing it. For adults and children age 8 and up in each skill level.

The University of Tulsa Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds will begin their Spring 2015 concert season with a performance on Monday evening March 2nd, beginning at 7:30 PM in the Lorton Performance Center’s Gussman Concert Hall on the campus of the University of Tulsa.

Explore elements in art and how their variations help to create unlimited artistic possibilities. Children will learn about line, shape, form, texture, color, value and space as they observe and discuss different works of art in the various galleries of the museum. Afterwards, they will create an art object that relates to what they just studied. Free for members; free with museum admission for not-yet members.
