Michael McClendon (Psy.D.) began his career with The University of Tulsa in 2011 as a staff counselor in the Office of Counseling and Psychological Services. As a licensed health service psychologist, McClendon has been involved in a broad array of student wellness, violence prevention and student development initiatives, programs and services. McClendon currently serves as dean of students, overseeing the nonacademic elements of student life for undergraduates including resident life, Collins Fitness Center and Campus Recreation, Counseling and Psychological Services, CaneCareers and student rights and responsibilities. He is a passionate champion of students and committed to continuous improvement of the student experience throughout campus life.
