Michael McClendon (PsyD) began his career with The University of Tulsa in 2011 as a staff counselor in the Counseling and Psychological Services office. As a licensed health service psychologist, McClendon has been involved in a broad array of student wellness, violence prevention and student development initiatives, programs and services. Currently McClendon serves as the dean of students for the TU, overseeing the nonacademic elements of student life for undergraduate students ranging from Resident Life, Collins Fitness Center and Campus Recreation, Counseling and Psychological Services, Cane Careers and Student Rights and Responsibilities. He is a passionate champion of students and committed to continuous improvement of the student experience throughout campus life.
