The 8,355-seat Donald W. Reynolds Center is a 200,268 square feet-square foot, $28 million multi-use facility that opened in December 1998. The facility, located on the northwest corner of Harvard Avenue and 11th Street, is the home to The University of Tulsa’s men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams. UTulsa is pleased to partner with other regional universities and high schools for commencement ceremonies.

Seating Information

  • Main Entrance: Chapman Plaza (west side of building)
  • ADA Accessible Seating: Available on the main entrance level; seating is first-come, first-served. Each ADA guest can have one companion. Venue staff will be present to help guests find open seats.
  • Wheelchairs: Limited number available for check-out to escort a guest to a seat (driver’s license required).
  • Special Seating: Please follow your school’s specific seating instructions. Otherwise, seats are first-come, first-serve.

Event Accessibility

  • Elevator Access: Near the Intercollegiate entrance, available for guests with mobility needs. One companion is allowed.
  • Additional ADA Questions: Contact your school for more info on sign language interpretation services.

Food & Beverages

Concessions will be open during ceremonies.


Parking Information

Parking is available in several lots. Please check with your school for specific parking directions. Locations include:

  • Harvard and Reynolds Commuter Lots located on the corner of E. 8th St. and Harvard Ave.
  • LPC lots located S. Gary Place and E 5th Place
  • Keplinger/Law Lot located on E. 4th Place and Harvard
  • 4th & Harvard Lot at E. 4th Street and Harvard
  • McFarlin Lot on E. 5th Street.
  • 4th & College Lots at E. 4th Place and S. College Ave.
  • Mabee East located at E. 8th St. and S. Gary Ave.
  • Lorton Village Lot on E. 8th St. and S. Florence Ave.
  • West Residential Lot at E. 8th Street and S. Delaware Ave.
  • Delaware Lot at E. 12th Street and S. Delaware Ave.

Parking for school dignitaries may be found in LaFortune Lot located on E. 8th Street and S. Gary Ave.

ADA Parking: Available at Mabee East Lot, E. 8th St. and S. Gary Ave. and a mini lot in the Reynolds Commuter Lot. A state-issued placard is required. A limited number of ADA parking spaces are available in the Mabee East. To enter the Reynolds Center from this lot, travel west, following the sidewalk and signage around the southern side of the Reynolds Center to Chapman Plaza. The main entrance to the Reynolds Center will be on the right. Venue staff will be available at the concourse entrance to assist guests.

Shuttle Service: Available throughout the graduation events. Refer to the shuttle map for stops (coming soon).

  • ATM Location: Allen Chapman Student Union (3135 E. 5th Place)
  • Medical Assistance: EMSA is on-site. Please contact venue staff for medical needs.
  • Ticketing: Please contact your school to determine whether or not your event is ticketed.

Community members and guests of UTulsa can submit reservation requests via this form.

Reservation requests are reviewed and processed during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding holidays and university breaks).

    • Artificial Noisemakers – airhorns, bells, megaphones, whistles, etc.
    • Non-clear bags larger than a clutch size purse (5×7) including purses, fanny packs, computer bag, backpacks, drawstring bags, luggage, camera bag, and binocular cases. Medical bags are allowed as well as diaper bags if accompanied by an infant or toddler. (Subject to inspection)
    • Balls, inflatable objects, frisbees, or other objects that can be thrown or other projectiles
    • Balloons
    • Bikes, skateboard, scooters
    • Coolers and ice chests
    • E-cigarettes, tobacco, and associated paraphernalia
    • Fireworks or other explosives
    • Laptop computers and tablets larger than 17 inches
    • Large signs, flags, banners with poles
    • Laser Pointers
    • Outside Food and Drinks, except an empty clear, plastic bottle less than 32 ounces
    • Professional camera with lenses greater than 4 inches, tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks
    • Oversized seatback chairs or seatbacks with armrests or pockets
    • Signs larger than 11×14 inches or signs with threatening, offensive, or abusive language or symbols; signs cannot interfere with the sight of other guests
    • Strollers, wagons, and infant carriers
    • Large/golf umbrellas (non-retractable). Umbrellas may not be opened in a venue.
    • Unmanned and remote-controlled aircraft systems (drones)
    • Video Cameras/Recording Device (including GoPro devices)
    • Weapons (e.g. firearms, knives, brass knuckles, mace, pepper spray, sticks, or poles). Includes weapons with a concealed carry permit
    • Wrapped gifts or gift bags
    • Other items deemed to be a safety hazard by venue management
