Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics seeks candidates to fill a tenure-track position in Statistics at the Assistant Professor level for the academic year beginning fall of 2018.

Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in statistics or a closely related field in the mathematical and computational sciences, a commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate and graduate levels, and clear indication of potential for productive research. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to a new interdisciplinary program in Data Science.

The Department of Mathematics is one of ten academic units in the College of Engineering and Natural Sciences and offers degree programs through the Ph.D. in mathematics and applied mathematics with a current enrollment of approximately 120 students.
