Position Summary

The Department of Physics and Engineering Physics at The University of Tulsa invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position for the academic year 2017-2018 with the possibility of renewal.

A Ph.D. in Physics or Engineering Physics and the ability to teach at all levels of undergraduate physics is required. Priority will be given to candidates with an interest and experience teaching E&M and/or Statistical Physics. An interest in mentoring undergraduate research projects will be a plus.

The University of Tulsa is a privately endowed doctoral granting university of approximately 4,500 students located in a metropolitan population of 960,000. The department, consisting of eight faculty, offers baccalaureate and master’s degrees in Physics and Engineering Physics and a doctoral degree in Physics.
