The University of Tulsa’s Department of Education offers bachelor’s degree educator preparation programs culminating in teacher certification in the State of Oklahoma. Integrating arts and sciences with education courses, the curriculum draws upon the expertise of faculty from diverse disciplines. Department of Education launches Kelble Makerspace
The Kelble Makerspace is at the heart of the department’s recently launched STEM education minor. It is also available for students enrolled in Design Thinking for Schools and Communities and Introduction to STEM Education who are majoring in other disciplines but are interested in STEM education.
