School of Music

Explore a full range of musical activities at UTulsa, whether you’re a music major or simply want music to be part of your college experience. We offer degrees in performance, composition, music education, and music studies with a liberal arts component. Students who wish to major in music must first audition. The audition serves two purposes: it determines both the eligibility for admission to the music major and qualification for music scholarships for both prospective music majors and non-music majors who wish to participate in music performance groups.

All full-time UTulsa students, regardless of major, can join our music ensembles, including orchestra, band, choir, jazz ensembles, and more. While non-music majors are encouraged to participate, they must audition to be considered for music scholarship.
