Business Analytics Grad Programs

UTulsa’s business analytics program prepares students to analyze, interpret, and utilize large sets of data to drive informed decision-making.

The STEM-designated master of science in business analytics equips students with the skills to analyze, interpret, and leverage data for business success. Our curriculum emphasizes the exploration and comprehension of big data generated in diverse modern business environments, while also cultivating skills in selecting and utilizing cutting-edge tools and modeling techniques. Students master quantitative and computational methods to extract valuable insights from various data types while gaining a strong understanding of organizational and project management issues within corporations.

Professional Opportunities

  • Our program’s business analytics practicum offers students an immersive data analytics experience guided by faculty and/or industry mentors using “big data” from current business situations.
  • Graduates demonstrate proficiency in analytics programming, data management, data visualization, and quantitative analysis to support decision-making.
  • Job opportunities include roles such as data scientist, programmer, data analyst, market research analyst, and business operations specialist.

Funding Opportunities

  • Merit scholarships covering up to 75% of tuition costs are available for students who apply before the rolling admission deadlines.
  • Graduate assistantships are available for highly qualified students and may receive full tuition coverage plus a stipend to cover additional expenses.

Admission Information

  • Must hold baccalaureate degree from an accredited university.
  • Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is not required, however, applicants who submit GMAT scores are eligible for greater financial aid.
  • Minimum TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, or PET scores required for international students.
