TU’s management and marketing degree programs combine theoretical study with an emphasis on practical applications in the workplace and community. Students are exposed to a number of opportunities for practical, hands-on learning by participating in real-world projects, specialized classes, student organizations or internships. Management and marketing students will not only learn the concepts critical to the particular major, but also will develop communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Classroom to boardroom: An immersive learning approach
Professor Charles Wood had three student sections collaborate with eight local startups, marking the first partnership between Wood, 36 Degrees North, and the ACT House. The assignment involved selecting a startup, forming teams, and promoting collaboration and adaptability. Over 100 students were impacted, along with the assisted new businesses.
