The Department of Mechanical Engineering’s Industrial Advisory Board enhances the value of UTulsa and our outstanding students, alumni, and faculty through implementation of the following tasks:

• Aiding the department in providing graduates with the ability to pursue professional careers in a global marketplace and pursue advanced studies and continued professional development
• Promoting the department within the community
• Supporting the department within the College of Engineering & Computer Science and the university administration
• Supporting the department in matters of accreditation
• Supporting departmental projects and research activities
• Serving as a source for grants and donations of money and/or equipment to the department
• Providing input regarding the academic requirements for new graduates
• Advising and counseling the students
• Supporting the Senior Design Projects program
• Serving as a technical resource for the faculty and students
• Providing part-time, summer, and full-time employment opportunities for students, graduates, and faculty
