This dual degree program features a study abroad experience and an internship abroad during the fourth year:
- First semester – study engineering, science, language, culture, and electives in the target language at a partner university.
- Second semester – complete an internship abroad with an engineering firm, tech company, or lab in the target language.
Engineering and science tracks include biochemistry, biology, biology pre-med, chemical engineering, chemistry, computer science, electrical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, physics, engineering physics, mathematics, mechanical engineering, and others.
Language tracks include French, German and Spanish. Students interested in Chinese or Russian should consult with the program director.
Eligibility Requirements
Prospective students who have been admitted to UTulsa should apply by February 1. Current students can apply to the IEL/ISL program after they have been admitted.
