The university strongly recommends all students maintain private health insurance or participate in the Student Health Insurance Plan while enrolled at TU. All Graduate students awarded university an assistantship, students enrolled in TU’s Nursing program, Intercollegiate Athletes, and International students taking one (1) or more credit hours are required to purchase the Student Health Insurance Plan.
Students who are required to have Student Health Insurance will be automatically enrolled and the cost of coverage is added to their university bill each semester. However, the charge will be removed upon verification of other appropriate coverage.
Verification must be received by September 15 for students enrolling in the fall and January 31 for students enrolling for the first time in the spring
