Class Descriptions

Cycle: Pedal through hills, sprints and other challenging drills to improve cardio and strength.

Awesome Abs: 30 minutes to work on your core with a variety mix of different movements.

Yoga: Mind/body flow focused on mindfulness, strength and mobility.

Zumba: Latin inspired dance fitness class to build endurance and have fun.

High Fitness: High energy class focusing on raising your heart rate.

X-Factor: Strength, endurance, power & mobility in high-energy circuit.

 

NOTE: Fitness classes require a waiver to be signed. You can do this by filling out the form online CLICK HERE. Once you have signed the waiver you will receive a sticker (available at the fitness center) to put on the back of your TU ID that will give you entry to any fitness class. Classes may be canceled during holidays and breaks, please check Facebook or Instagram for updates.

Cycle classes are limited by space availability.

  • BECOME A GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
    • The ACE Group Fitness Instructor Workshop prepares you to pass the ACE certification exam so you can be hired as a Group Fitness Instructor at TU or the outside community. This course meets on Saturday & Sunday of October 23rd & 24th from 9am-3pm The cost of the course is $45; however, the manual and exam do incur additional costs.   • F45 online workout

     

     

    The University of Tulsa is excited to announce our partnership with F45 Training. F45 Training is the HIIT, circuit-based training system that is 100% free for all students, faculty and staff that use their utulsa.edu email address to register. Registering will give access to on-demand workouts, meal plans, personalized calorie guides, results trackers and more!

    Simply go to www.f45challenge.com to register or download F45 Challenge App to your device. This is a great option for both students and staff working remotely and those on campus that may have concerns in coming to the Collins Fitness Center in person.
