About
Jason Yang, applied assistant professor in digital arts and professor in residence, brings a diverse range of commercial experience in the creative services industry to his teaching philosophy and pedagogy. His commitment to community engagement is reflected in his active participation in speaking engagements, evaluations of art exhibitions and student portfolio reviews. Yang’s design and illustration work has also been recognized in numerous pop culture galleries.
For more than two decades, Yang has created content for commercial and broadcast clients around the world. In 2014, he founded Invisible Element, a creative studio offering design, illustration, animation and consulting services. He has collaborated with Google, Walmart, Disney, Hasbro and many other companies, large and small. Yang approaches every project as an opportunity to build meaningful, long-lasting relationships.
