About
Laura Wilson, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, CBIST is an associate professor in communication sciences and disorders. Her research and clinical focus is on acquired brain injuries, with an emphasis on mild traumatic brain injury/concussion. She is the co-director of the Concussion Center at the Mary K Chapman Clinic at The University of Tulsa; this interdisciplinary center provides assessment, education, and treatment to individuals with acute or post-acute concussions. She teaches courses including anatomy and physiology, neurology for the speech-language pathologist, concepts of research, aphasia, and a certification course in traumatic brain injury.
