Benjamin Peters, Ph.D., is a media scholar who specializes in the relationships between emerging technology, culture, and society, especially in the Soviet century. His specialties include media theory, new media history, technology criticism, and, with some comparative attention to North America, transnational area studies between Berlin and Beijing, with an epicenter on Kyiv, Ukraine.
