About

Mark S. Rideout, PhD, is an applied assistant professor of English in the Department of English & Creative Writing at The University of Tulsa. In addition to undergraduate college composition, he specializes in Renaissance and Restoration English literature, with an emphasis in drama and discourses of magic and literatures of the fantastic. Scholarly and teaching interests focus on the intersection of writing, identities, and the performative self in both early modern English and contemporary popular cultures.
