Daniel Walden, Ph.D.

About

Daniel Walden is an assistant professor in the Honors College. Prior to working at UTulsa he was a lecturer in Classical Studies at the University of Michigan, where he took his Ph.D. in 2021. His research interests include Greek epic poetry, ancient conceptions of personal identity, comparative Indo-European poetics, political philosophy, liturgical language, and the reception of classical antiquity among gay communities.
