Mellon Foundation grants $677,000 for new UTulsa, Muscogee (Creek) Nation project

UTulsa has received a $677,000 grant from the Public Knowledge program of the Mellon Foundation to support a joint effort between the university and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation’s Historic and Cultural Preservation Department.

Leslie Weeks is a legal writing professor who specializes in legal writing and appellate practice. She practiced law for 30 years in Dallas and Tulsa, with a practice that focused primarily on writing motions, briefs and appeals in the areas of medical malpractice and employment law. She also spent two years practicing corporate and securities law in Dallas.
