Shubha Sharma, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of management at The University of Tulsa. Her research examines interpersonal processes at work, with a particular focus on workplace humor and social exclusion. She studies how employees interpret and respond to complex and often ambiguous interpersonal interactions, and how these interactions can strengthen or undermine workplace relationships. Her work examines topics including leader and employee humor, social exclusion, interpersonal trust, social comparison, employee voice and other inclusionary and interpersonal dynamics at work.
