In cooperation with the Tulsa Global Alliance, the Center for Global Education is pleased to welcome Dr. Justin Hart from Texas Tech University for a special campus lecture on education and public diplomacy!
On the evening of January 19th at 7:00pm, Dr. Hart will present an open lecture on “Ideas of Education, Public Diplomacy, and America’s Image in the World.” The presentation will be held in Meinig Hall of TU’s Lorton Performance Center and is open to the public. Associate Chair and Associate Professor of History at Texas Tech, Dr. Hart is the author of the book Empire of Ideas and the book chapter “Making Democracy Safe for the World: Race, Propaganda, and the Transformation of U.S. Foreign Policy during World War II,” which received the James Madison Prize of the Society for the History of the Federal Government and the W. Turrentine Jackson Prize of the Pacific Coast Branch of the American Historical Association. Dr. Hart completed his Ph.D. in History at Rutgers University under the direction of Lloyd Gardner. All are invited and encouraged to attend this exciting lecture!
