At The University of Tulsa, we have so much to be thankful for in 2019.
We received national attention because of sold-out events such as the Bob Dylan symposium and the Cyber Summit. The American Athletic Conference Annual Academic Consortium shone a light on the importance of mental health for student athletes. Also, the law school’s social justice programs made a difference in the lives of hundreds of people in underserved populations.
We are on way to being the school of choice for more new students. We welcomed one of our largest-ever freshman classes and anticipate more growth next fall. Our new Center for Student Success has been very popular, and our mentoring programs are keeping students engaged and preparing them to launch new careers.
Our generous donors contributed tens of millions of dollars to student scholarships and faculty support, and the True Blue Neighbors program volunteers gave thousands of hours of service to our community.
Paula and I share our gratitude with every member of faculty and staff as well as our students and alumni. We are eager to kick off what’s sure to be a great 2020.
Thank you for all you do for TU,
