Dining dollars can be used at any of the on-campus dining venues. They are accepted for food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, and in most vending machines. They are included with meal plans.
Dining Dollars should be used up each academic year; they will expire at the end of the spring semester and are non-refundable.
Hurricane Gold Dollars
The Hurricane Gold Dollar program is a prepaid account that allows students use their student ID to purchase the items they need around campus. From textbooks and apparel at the university bookstore to meals or snacks at Pat Case Dining Center and all locations in the Student Union, on-campus coffee shops and sporting events.
Hurricane Gold Dollars give students the opportunity to purchase a lower cost meal plan and still make purchases at other dining options. Hurricane Gold Dollars can be used any time the facility is open.
Students simply set a gold dollars amount (minimum of $10.00) and prepay at the Business Office or cash deposits are accepted automated terminal located in the Student Union. Hurricane Gold Dollars can also be deposited online (with a minimum deposit of $25) with your Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express card or by e-check using our secure payment form. When the Gold Dollar limit is reached, students can add money to their account.
If Hurricane Gold Dollars remain in the account at the end of the academic term, they will be carried over into the upcoming academic term balance. Students may request a refund of any balance remaining in their account at the end of the academic year.
