Greek Housing

The University of Tulsa hosts several fraternities and sororities.  Students can live in University-recognized Greek houses beginning in the fall semester of their freshmen year. Please carefully review the following information and guidelines to live in Greek Housing.

  • Sorority Housing

BODY-TU-vs-Rice-310University Housing collaborates with six national sororities to offer 185 spaces for women who join the Greek system. Sorority housing is provided in 6 two-story homes, one for each national chapter. Sorority women participate in house-sponsored dining programs and are encouraged to establish a Dining Dollars or Hurricane Gold account for additional meals and snacks.

NPC sororities have houses divided into two parts, the front and back of the house. The front portion is the lodge containing the meeting space, kitchen and dining room for the sorority chapter. This portion of the house is owned and operated by a chapter-housing corporation. The back of the house is the residential portion, which is owned and operated by University Housing. The rooms are set mostly in suite style, double rooms. Each house has anywhere from 26-32 beds.

    • Suite-style living with dual occupancy bedrooms and vanity area
    • One bathroom per suite
    • Wired and wireless internet
    • Laundry facilities on site
    • Smoke detector in each room

First-Year Greek Moves (for Spring 2022)

Campus Housing has developed the following procedure in support of our partnership with Greek Affairs:

Greek members should check with their organization presidents to ensure that a current house roster is on file with Campus Housing. Moves will not be approved until this is completed.

Requests to move to Fraternity House must be submitted and approved by Noon, November 15, 2021, and requests to move to Sorority House must be submitted and approved by Noon, November 15, 2021; requests for the fall semester will not be considered after this date. Members moving to a Greek house for the semester and wishing to cancel their housing and/or dining must complete a First-Year Only, Greek Housing/Dining Assignment Change Request Form available in Housing self-service.  All Spring semester moves should plan to vacate their current room by NOON on December 19th, 2021, and receive their new key on Friday, January 7th, 2022, starting at 9:00am.

Please note: All first-year students moving into a greek house that request to cancel an academic year dining plan for the Spring semester will be subject to a $300 liquidated damages charge.

  • Housing Selection for Current Students

Do you plan to live in a sorority or fraternity house?

Students residing in Sorority Housing or Sigma Nu will need to complete a Housing and Dining license for 2021-2022. This will be the only step you will need to complete to secure your housing. Once you have submitted your housing and dining agreement your House President will make assignments and provide a house roster to the housing office.  On April 15th you will be able to purchase your parking permit for 2021-2022 starting at 9 am.

If you are unsure if you will living in the house please reach out to your House President and the Housing office to discuss housing options. Please make every effort to be certain of your plans before you submit your Housing and Dining License.
