Don’t miss Parent & Family Weekend Sept. 18-20, 2026!
Parent & Family Weekend is a special opportunity for families to reconnect with their UTulsa students, experience life on campus and enjoy everything that makes Tulsa a vibrant place to live and learn.
On Friday, families can explore academic programs across campus through open houses, class visits, tours, picnics, and opportunities to meet deans, faculty, staff, and fellow students. Friday is also Tulsa’s annual 918 Day, a community celebration of local pride, making it a perfect time to explore the city’s restaurants, shops, museums, and attractions.
Saturday brings together students, families, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members for a day of Golden Hurricane spirit. Families are invited to gather in the UTulsa Family Tailgate Tent before cheering on the Golden Hurricane as UTulsa takes on East Texas A&M University at H.A. Chapman Stadium.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll find opportunities to connect with faculty, staff, fellow families and other members of the UTulsa community while making memories with your student. Whether you’re touring academic facilities, enjoying brunch together, spending time in downtown Tulsa or sharing game-day traditions, Parent & Family Weekend is about spending meaningful time with your student while connecting with the campus and community they call home.Â

Parent & Family Weekend Registration
Advanced registration is encouraged and helps us plan for activities throughout the weekend. Families who register in advance and check in during Parent & Family Weekend will be entered to win a UTulsa swag basket!

Check-In Hours: Friday, Sept. 18, noon–5 p.m. & Saturday, Sept. 19, 3–5 p.m.

UTulsa Family Tailgate
Join fellow parents, family members, students, faculty, staff and alumni in the UTulsa Family Tailgate Tent on Chapman Commons before kickoff. Enjoy opportunities to meet and connect with fellow UTulsa families. President Stacy Leeds will join families in the tent beginning around 5:00 p.m.
