Volunteer Opportunities
UTulsa parents and families share their time, opportunities, and financial resources. From cheering on our Golden Hurricane athletic teams and helping recruit new students, to establishing scholarship opportunities, internships, and post-graduate work, each family gets involved in a way that is meaningful to them and helpful to our students. We’ve seen firsthand the positive impact the generosity of UTulsa parents can have on the UTulsa community.
We invite you to engage with the UTulsa community in ways that are meaningful to you. Whether it’s supporting our admission outreach, connecting students with career opportunities, participating in community-building events or contributing to areas that matter to your family, your involvement will not only enhance your child’s journey, but will also make a lasting impact on other UTulsa students.

Parent & Family Ambassadors
Parent and family ambassadors give one of their most precious commodities: time.
- Recruitment & Admission – Help prospective families learn about UTulsa (e.g. serve on a parent panel, represent UTulsa at college fairs, host a reception in your hometown, or share your experience in a testimonial/video). Contact the Office of Admission at admission@utulsa.edu or 918-631-2307 to express interest in supporting these efforts.
- Community Building – Create a welcoming environment for UTulsa families (e.g. welcome families on move-in day, distribute UTulsa family buttons at football tailgate parties, or assist with Parent & Family Weekend check-in). Parent & Family Employers
Parent and family employers give one of their most precious commodities: opportunities.
- Career & Professional Connections – Support UTulsa students’ career development (e.g. encourage your company to recruit UTulsa students, share open positions with ‘CaneCareers, mentor students in your field, or offer informational interviews). Parent and family donors give one of their most precious commodities: financial resources.
- Philanthropy & Giving – Make a lasting impact through financial support (e.g. participate in UTulsa Giving Day, establish an endowed scholarship, make a planned gift or join the Parent & Family Leadership Council).
