Computer Labs

The University maintains several computer labs across campus for student-use of all kinds.

McFarlin Library

iLab A & iLab B
IT manages the one computer lab with printers in iLab A, room 1055 on the Plaza Level. It’s open 24/7, except during semester breaks. We also have a BYOD (bring your own device) study area in iLab B, room 1035 on the Plaza Level, also open 24/7 except during semester breaks.

Classrooms
Use of the classrooms on the 2nd level of the Technology wing is available to faculty/staff by reservation for primarily academic use.  For more information see McFarlin LibGuides iClassrooms.

Health Sciences – Downtown

Oxley Room 317 – ​The testing and teaching lab contains 52 student computers running Windows 10.  This is currently being upgraded to contain 60 PCs

  • Supported by College of Health Sciences admin, Oxley building room 321.
  • Backup support is Client Services
  • Can be reserved in Outlook.  (Only Health Sciences Faculty/Staff can reserve.  Non HS users must contact Veronica Goss or Wendy Palmer to make reservations)
  • Calendar name in Outlook address book:  OCHS Rm 317

Oxley Room 415 – The lounge/student lab contains 10 computers running Windows 10.

  • Supported by College of Health Sciences admin, Oxley building room 415.
  • Backup support is Client Services
  • Can be reserved in Outlook resource calendars (Only Health Sciences Faculty/Staff can reserve.  Non HS users must contact Veronica Goss or Wendy Palmer to make reservations)
