BODY-04-30-13-campus-spring-student-volleyball--108The University of Tulsa takes extra care to make sure our students from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds successfully transition to college life.

The MulticulTUral Compass program complements new student orientation by introducing students and their families to other multicultural students, faculty and staff and educating them about the many programs and opportunities available to them. It builds a foundation of peer support that will help multicultural students more easily transition into the college environment.

Our goal is to help each student become involved on campus and develop leadership skills early on, so they can be successful.

Our peer-mentoring program, Leaders Incorporated, also is a great resource for new TU students. Our mentors help facilitate the compass program and provide ongoing peer support.
