Abigail BauerVice president, Sports and Entertainment Law Society

“To say that TU’s Clinical Education Program professors have educated me would be an absolute understatement. They have directed us on how to build thorough legal minds as well as develop brave legal agendas. Working in the clinics teaches us how to zealously advocate for people who genuinely need our legal aid. Access to a legal remedy should not depend on a person’s economic status, and TU’s clinics help ensure future attorneys are empowered to deliver on that principle.”

Abigail Bauer came to TU Law after obtaining a BA in English with minors in political science and philosophy from the University of Oklahoma. During her first two years of law school, Bauer developed a deep interest in contracts. Bauer is drawn to contract law because it enables the parties to a transaction to conduct their affairs confidentially, while offering the legal system as a regulator when a party does not follow its agreement. It is important to Bauer that the force of legal regulation is reliably offered to every contracting party, regardless of economic status.
