Kendall College of Arts & Sciences students Cecilia Gutierrez and Kyleigh Gutierrez recently participated in the Oklahoma Summer Policy Institute.
“Overall, It was a great experience because it allowed me to better understand the issues affecting Oklahoma citizens while learning potential solutions to these problems. Being surrounded by so many passionate and active change-makers was inspiring and also allowed me to catch a glimpse into the many different directions that I could take in my future career,” said Cecilia.
The Oklahoma Summer Policy Institute offers highly-qualified college students and recent graduates the opportunity to network with peers and learn from leaders and experts in Oklahoma. Throughout the four-day experience, participants are presented with a variety of topics followed by panel discussions led by policy experts.
