I would like to talk about by experience when I started the in-person classes at the University of Tulsa, after a rough period for everyone because of the covid-19 pandemic. I will start with the professors and their assistants, that helped all of the students to adjust easily from the full-time online programs to the traditional in-person style.
They are making sure that everything is well-organized although they were used to the online way of teaching and as a student, I can say that I do not fell stressed about that change. All teachers know the situation and show understanding because of this big change for everyone. To make things work properly and go back at the previous in-person system there are more flexibilities in the class schedules about the deadlines for some assignments and quizzes which is a great way to not increase pressure and stress to the students. This flexible model is helpful for every one and made me feel that both of those learning methods are effective and useful for us, the students, but from my experience with the in-person classes I can say for sure that the communication and interaction between students, and not only, is better. It is very important for our future to learn how to be a good communicator and an in-person class is the first step that we all have to take to make it happen. My first contact was very good although I was used to something completely different, and the University of Tulsa played a big role in it.
