Ahmad Amiri
Assistant Professor
Amiri received an M.S. in chemical engineering from the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2011, a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Malaya in 2017, and a second Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University in 2022. Prior to embarking on his second doctorate, Amiri served as a visiting assistant professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department and a post-doctoral fellow in the Aerospace Engineering Department at Texas A&M. His research interests are centered around the development and creation of rechargeable multifunctional energy storage devices, notably in the fields of stretchable batteries, supercapacitors, MEMS energy storage devices, and structural energy storage devices.
