First-Year MSM Students Visit to Woolaroc

First-year MSM students visited Woolaroc, the museum and wild game park created by Frank Phillips, founder of Phillips Petroleum near Bartlesville, OK. On a sunny Fall day, Woolaroc staff members introduced our group to one of Oklahoma’s most intriguing museums. It is a time capsule of collections and exhibition styles that reflect the founder’s time and tastes. In addition, there are herds of elk, bison, water buffalo, and other exotics that graze the lush grasses throughout the park. Taking care of such a large ranch in addition to the museum and other structures is a big and complex job.
