The University of Tulsa is proud to announce it once again is included in the Fiske Guide to Colleges, a top admission tool for more than three decades.
Millions of students, parents and high school counselors rely on the Fiske Guide to present the best and most interesting schools during their college search. Compiled by Edward B. Fiske, the guide is a selective, subjective and systematic look at more than 300 colleges and universities in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Inclusion in the 2017 guide is based on a broad range of subjects, including student population, academics, social life, financial aid, campus setting, housing, food and extracurricular activities.
Fiske served for 17 years as education editor of the New York Times, where he realized that college-bound students and their families needed better information on which to base their educational choices. He is also the coauthor of the Fiske Guide to Getting into the Right College and Fiske Real College Essays That Work.
