Thanks very much to our alumni, faculty, supporters, and students, this April we had our most successful TU Giving Day ever. Last year, the Kendall College of Arts & Sciences raised $35,086 on Giving Day; this year, we more than doubled that, raising nearly $100,000. But most importantly, we had more donors than any other college at The University of Tulsa – and they told us many incredible stories about the impact the College of Arts & Sciences has had on their lives.

The stories in our most recent newsletter illustrate this vividly. Carter Johansen, a sophomore, has been selected for the prestigious 2025 Fulbright Summer Institute in the United Kingdom; Nevaeh Goudeau, a senior, discusses her summer working with TU Alumni Julius Tennon at his film studio in Burbank, California; and Kadee Jo Ransom, a junior, has been featured in Forbes Magazine alongside students from Carnegie Mellon and Yale as one of America’s foremost student leaders.

I’m very proud that the college attracts such bright and talented students, and of the remarkable mentorship that we provide. It takes the whole community: faculty, our amazing staff, and our extended alumni network. Together, we really do make UTulsa and the College of Arts & Sciences greater than the sum of its parts. It’s a place with great individuals, who make an even greater team. Thank you for being a part of it!
