As we gear up for the fall semester, I am thrilled to announce this fall marks a significant milestone for Collins College of Business as we welcome the largest incoming class since 2018. This achievement is a testament to your support and the dedication of our talented faculty and staff.
This academic year also marks the beginning of my third year as dean, and I am humbled by the progress we have made together during this time. The steadfast collaboration between our faculty, staff, students, and partners like you has been instrumental in shaping the success of the Collins College of Business. We hosted two weeks of high school summer camps in entrepreneurship and finance, our inaugural graduate in real estate received one of the highest national awards given, and we are welcoming four new tenure track faculty, several new professors of practice and a number of dedicated adjuncts. Faculty research continues to make an impact on societal problem solving. All this contributes to our reputation as a center of excellence in business education.
As we embark on this new semester, I invite you to visit us and join us in our pregame tailgate celebrations before each home football game. I hope you will take a moment to learn about many exciting happenings at the college in this newsletter. Your support has enabled us to provide scholarships, enhance facilities, mentor students, and foster a dynamic learning environment that prepares our students for leadership roles in the business world.
