Looking ahead to 2025, we are thrilled to announce a first of its kind event in Oklahoma on April 25, 2025: A National Academy of Engineering member-led event titled “Carbon Capture, Sequestration, and the Future of Energy at The University of Tulsa. This gathering of industry experts, academicians, and thought leaders will provide a unique opportunity for engagement, collaboration, and inspiration as we address some of the most pressing challenges in engineering and technology today.
We are also delighted to welcome new faculty who will bring their expertise and vision to UTulsa. These include Hazem Refai, Ph.D. as Chair of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mohammad Khodayar, Ph.D. as Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Yujing Du, Ph.D. as Assistant Professor of Petroleum Engineering, and Chris Burris as an Instructional Professor of Simulation and Gaming in Computer Science.
