Dear all,
This fall semester marks a time for new beginnings, relationships and opportunities. I extend a warm welcome to all our incoming and returning graduate students.
In starting my tenure as the dean, I am reflecting on this time with gratitude. I want to personally thank my executive staff – Caitlin Getchell Lawson, Jonathan Nataprawira, Bo Roach and Dayne Riley – for their utmost support in helping me transition into this role.
Regardless of your program, The University of Tulsa and its tight-knit community offer ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. Our faculty are among the brightest minds in the region, fostering a rich environment of academic success. We will work closely with faculty and staff to provide workshops and lectures to enrich your educational experience. We also will collaborate with the Graduate Student Association and its subdivisions to further strengthen the community.
I am inspired by our possibilities this semester, and I hope you are, too. Join us in this new chapter of UTulsa’s Graduate School. Your opinions matter to me and to all of us here. I implore you to stop by our new offices in the Holmes Student Center and share your thoughts.
