What was your favorite part of your experiences?:
So many favorites… Lion’s head at sunset with my cohort in CapeTown, experiencing all that is carnaval with local friends, doing a market analysis project on cat litter in Spanish, volunteering with Fundacion Nuestra Calle for six months, trekking for 5 days through Patagonia, playing in a samba band on Copacabana Beach with my host mom every Sunday, climbing an active volcano, but overall just having the chance to meet and form relationships with local people and go through these experiences with them!
How has studying abroad influenced your future career/goals/ post grad life/ etc.?
My courses, experiences, and internships abroad have heavily influenced my career goals. As a result, I want to eventually pursue a career in management consulting with a focus on sustainability.
What has Global Scholars done for you?:
Global Scholars has been the most impactful part of my time and TU. I am grateful for the opportunities the program provides both locally and globally to engage and participate as a global citizen. The program has provided me with a group of friends who push me to challenge my own perspective and view of the world and future. I’ll miss them the most!
Last Remarks:
Thank you to Dr. Foley and Dr. Troilo for pouring so much into the Global Scholars program and each individual student!
