I know that it’s hard to grow up and make all these friends just to possibly move away from them for college. Mainly when you are the only person out of your school to go to a specific college. There is a fear that you will never be able to make the kind of friend ships you had in high school at college.
Well, I’ll tell you that you are completely wrong. Here in Tulsa, you never truly feel alone, because of the number of friends you can make her. It could be your lab partner to your neighbor next door. Everyone here is so nice and is willing to be friends. It’s just the problem of getting over that first hurdle and getting yourself out there.
People here are easy to talk to and, and if you don’t want people your age our faculty here are wonderful and would love to talk. No matter the major, ethnicity, height, or size you are people will love you and give you a big warm welcome. I was scared to come to a school in a town I had no friends in because I felt like I would be this lonely outcast that you see in all the old movies. Well, spoiler alert that didn’t happen and doesn’t happen in real life. I made friends almost instantly at Freshmen orientation, and it wasn’t just my group either.
It’s very easy to make friends in your classes and even in your dorms just takes a bit of opening. Trust me if you are thinking of coming to TU or know that you will be attending school here. We are ready to great you with posters, pompoms, food and bright smiles. Tulsa is a wonderful place, and you should it out come and see if you would have fun!
