The next experience I would like to talk about is finding the Ignite campus ministry. I first met half of the ignite family at the glow tour we had for freshman orientation. I saw them playing extreme frisbee and they invited me to play, if only I knew that this small invitation would lead to not only making friends but meeting a family that has open arms to you. 
After the game we went for Sonic and continued our talks about how much I had in common with all of them. I started to show up to their cross chat meetings at their church which is just a time when we all come together and play games and talk about real life stuff we go through and how to work around it.
While doing that I was invited on a lake trip with them. I couldn’t believe it. They knew me for less than a month and were already eager to take me places. I had so much fun there and loved the other people I got to meet there.
About 2 weeks later they invited me to their ministry retreat which was fun too. We stayed there for a whole day and I jumped off of a cliff which was so amazing. We played games and had meetings where they talked about a variety of things. I related to so many stories they told which made me emotional and that made us bond more than ever. By the end of the night we made a fire and roasted marshmallows to make S’mores. There we talked about the day and what we took in and related to. I love all of them they welcomed me without hesitation and they always make me feel at home.
