The University of Tulsa is a great place to build last relationships. Not only is the faculty and administration working to see you succeed, but the friends you make are also truly a blessing. The student body of TU consists of approximately three thousand undergraduate students; At the same time, this may still seem tremendous. OU and OSU have an undergraduate study body of around twenty-four thousand, making The University of Tulsa’s student body seem very petite. This smaller student body at The University of Tulsa allows a family-like atmosphere to develop among the students. This form of family bond the students have with each other is incredible. I remember walking to class on the first day of school, and I was greeted by seven or eight people that knew me. I think that is very rare for a college campus, especially on the first day of class. The bond among students makes for some fantastic social opportunities also. It is super easy to find something fun to do with friends after class or during the weekends on campus. Whether these activities include playing volleyball, going to the TU games, or even just hanging out in a common area, TU’s facilities pair perfectly with its fantastic student body and can generate lifelong friendships. I believe this is far more difficult to achieve at a university with a larger student body. Nothing is better than having a family of friends going through the same struggles you are during college. The student body at TU truly is one.
