Another story about the amazing people at TU is people randomly texting me from this fine entablement. Over the summer of last year before my freshman year. I met this beautiful human name Ha. She was my sister tour guided. I was with my mom going around and finding my class while my sister took her tour. Sidenote: this was my first time on campus.
I did not take a tour before accepting and deciding on TU. Anyway, as we walked around and ran into their tour, I met Ha and he told me a few things about the university. When my family arrived back at my childhood home that night, I decided to DM Ha on Instagram. We talked for a moment, and we finally exchange numbers. Throughout my freshman year she would randomly text me and check up on me.
It was really heartwarming because I have only met her a few times. She is such great human being. I had a friend before I even went to school here.
Another story of this topic is my lovely orientation leader, Ms.Lanie. Ms. Lanie would also randomly text me and we would set up lunches. She would even Face Time me when something was wrong with my mental space. These two ladies are my friends, and I am forever grateful for them! TU allows you to meet all kinds of people in ways that you would never think of. I call these ladies my close friends. My TU experience would not be the same without them.
