On January 25, 2019, The University of Tulsa School of Nursing held its annual White Coat Ceremony. For nursing students, the donning of a white coat symbolizes moving to the next stage of both education and patient care.
This year, 51 sophomores in the BSN program — the largest cohort in the history of nursing education at TU — and 17 Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students began clinical rotations providing patient care. The BSN program has been training individuals to become nurses for over 40 years, while the DNP program began in 2016 (and is set to graduate its first students just a few months from now).

Congratulations to all our future healthcare leaders!
