Debbie Firestone (JD ’20) graduated with highest honors from The University of Tulsa College of Law. She also earned the SERL certificate, as well as an L.L.M. in Energy and Environmental Law with distinction. While at TU Law, Firestone served as articles editor for the Energy Law Journal.
Firestone is currently an attorney working with TU Law alumna Jessica Ridenour (JD ’05), focusing on Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, National Environmental Policy Act and Endangered Species Act cases, as well as nuisance and trespass matters with Environmental, Energy and Natural Resources Advocates.
Firestone has three publications to her name, including “The Decline of Coal as an Energy Source,” Global Encyclopedia of Public Administration, Public Policy, and Governance (New York: Springer Nature, 2021).
