The University of Tulsa has been named one of the nation’s best colleges for career preparation at an affordable price, according to The Princeton Review’s 2017 release of Colleges That Pay You Back: The 200 Schools That Give You the Best Bang for Your Tuition Buck.

The Princeton Review selected TU based on return-on-investment ratings from a comprehensive analysis of 650 colleges and their students last year. The ratings reflect 40 data points including academics, affordability, graduation rates, student debt and career prospects. The publication also factors in a PayScale.com online compensation survey on the salaries of alumni.

“The TU experience combines engaged faculty, undergraduate research, community involvement, state-of-the-art facilities and generous financial assistance for students from around the world,” said Earl Johnson, vice president for enrollment and student services. “Our exceptional learning environment launches students into successful careers and a lifelong love of learning.”

TU also was recognized in last year’s edition of Colleges That Pay You Back and is featured in the Princeton Review’s 2017 edition of its flagship guide, The Best 381 Colleges.
