Important Rule for Psychology Majors

You must make a minimum of a B in all four of the Foundations classes if you declared Psychology as your major after 7/1/2014.

All Freshmen and Sophomores must complete online violence protection training they enroll.  Please look for emailed instructions from the Dean of Students that will help you navigate this training.

Notes for Juniors and Seniors

Graduation Check and Degree Applications

Students planning to graduate in 2023 should go to Student Advising (located in Hardesty Hall ) for a graduation check.  Please do not wait until the rush of enrollment week.

Students enrolling in their final semester should make an application for a degree in the Dean’s Office.

Senior Seminar

Start thinking about your Senior Seminar. If you are enrolling in your Senior Seminar next semester, please complete the form.

More than Classes

TU is distinctive in its commitment to engage students in research, service, and international experiences. The Psychology department embraces this commitment and offers our majors the opportunity to develop in all three of these areas. These experiences are key factors that differentiate psychology majors looking for jobs and positions in graduate schools around the country and the world.

How to Check Past Teacher Evaluations

  • Log in to SmartEvals at https://utulsa.smartevals.com.
  • Go to the “See Results from Past Years” tab on the menu bar.
  • Use a search interface or a drop-down box to search results by course name or professor.

TU Psychology Club

Program Planning Committee will be planning their 2022-2 events in the fall. There will be information tables with individual TU research labs, psychology courses at TU, study abroad information, and a SONA presentation. There will also be food and games with chances to win prizes.

Please share information and suggestions, posts, pictures by sending an email to tulsapsychologyclub@gmail.com.

Membership Committee will be sending out a survey to gather contact information from students who would like to be a member of the club and participate in various activities.

PSI CHI

Psi Chi meets once a month on Wednesdays at noon in Lorton Hall 207. The specific dates and topics of meetings will be announced via email and flyers in the weeks leading up to each meeting.

Information coming soon for this year’s induction ceremony for new Psi Chi members. Anyone is welcome to attend induction! The applications to join Psi Chi can be completed anytime but must be completed by March 30th to be eligible to be inducted in April of that year. Applications can be completed online. Go to www.psichi.org, click on “Join,” and follow the steps. Even if you do not meet the membership criteria, you are more than welcome to attend any Psi Chi meeting or community service opportunity!
