The University of Tulsa is starting off the 2021-22 academic year strong, ranked among the nation’s Top 75 private research universities by U.S. News & World Report. The publication also ranked TU among the Top 100 Best Value universities – higher than every other college in Oklahoma (and almost every college in Texas).
TU students receive high-quality support from peer mentors, success coaches, academic advisors, career counselors, health professionals, financial aid officers and incredibly engaged faculty who are at the top of their fields. TU graduates have the highest earning potential in the region and are automatically granted free access to TU Alumni Association benefits immediately upon graduation.
The university again has been included in Princeton Review’s Best 387 Colleges publication. TU is among just 14% of America’s four-year colleges that are being highlighted by the Princeton Review this fall. Here is an excerpt from TU student section:
Undergrads “describe their classmates as ‘smart,’ ‘engaging’ and ‘extremely focused on their studies.’ And most ‘are incredibly involved at TU, whether it be in Greek life, athletics, music [or] research.’ Additionally, a lot of ‘TU students look for opportunities to challenge themselves and impact their community.’ One thrilled undergrad sums up the campus experience: ‘TU honestly feels like a small-town community. Everyone is so friendly and kind, and it’s like having one giant family.’”
The Fiske Guide to Colleges 2022 also has TU on its list for the 320 “best and most exciting” four-year colleges. And, popular online college search tool Niche gave TU an “A” grade for its outstanding academics and faculty; diversity, inclusion and equity initiatives; and exciting Division I athletics.
